Hair Style: for Straight and Layered

SHOULDER-LENGTH

Low Loop
  • Smooth your hair back into a low ponytail and secure it with an elastic.
  • Tuck the ends underneath the base of your ponytail and secure them with three or four bobby pins.

Twirled Half-Up

  • Separate your hair into two equal-sized sections, so you have a top half and a bottom half.
  • Gather the top half into a half-ponytail at the crown of your head. Hold the half-ponytail at its base and tightly twist it one full twist.
  • Letting the ends of the ponytail hang loose, secure the twist against your head with three or four bobby pins.

Double Ties

  • Separate your hair into two equal-sized sections, so you have a top half and a bottom half.
  • Divide the top half into a left and right half, then tie the two pieces together in a knot, so one is pointing up and one is pointing down. Secure both sections (and the knot itself) to your head with five or six bobby pins.
  • Create an identical knot in the bottom half of your hair.

Fanned Pouf
  • Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic.
  • Pull your ponytail towards your forehead and lay it flat and fanned-out on your head, then secure all the ponytail hair to your head, just above the elastic, with four or five bobby pins.
  • Lightly spritz the loose ponytail hair with hairspray.
  • Flip the loose ponytail hair back over the ponytail base and underneath itself, so the ends are tucked under and the ponytail forms a fanned-out pouf.
  • Secure the ponytail ends just below the ponytail elastic with four or five bobby pins.

BELOW-THE-SHOULDER

Coil-y Crown

  • Take a section of hair from the center of your hairline that's two inches wide and one-and-a-half inches deep. Twist the hair tightly until it coils up entirely, then secure the coil to your head an inch back from your hairline with two bobby pins.
  • Divide the rest of your hair into a top half and a bottom half. Divide the top half into a left half and a right half.
  • Sweep the right half up and back behind the coil you created in step 1, and use it to create a second coil. Secure it just behind and to the right of the first with two bobby pins.
  • Sweep the left half up and back and use it to create a third coil. Secure it to the left of the second coil.

Rhinestone Fan

  • Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic.
  • Take a one-inch piece of hair from your ponytail and wrap it around the elastic to cover it, then secure it underneath with a bobby pin.
  • Clip rhinestone bobby pins vertically above and around the base of your pony to look like a fan.

Braided Base

  • Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic.
  • Take a two-inch section of hair from the underside of your ponytail and braid its length. Wrap it around the elastic to cover it, then secure it underneath with two bobby pins.

Messy Doughnuts

  • Create a part from ear to ear going across the back of your head.
  • Twist the top section of your hair into a bun, letting the ends stick out. Secure it with five or six bobby pins.
  • Twist the bottom section of your hair into a bun, letting the ends stick out, and secure it below the first one with five or six bobby pins.
