Lengthen Eyelashes Naturally
There are several ways to lengthen eyelashes naturally. These are things I regularly do but a word of caution, extreme care should be taken when handling the eye area.
Castor Oil
Put some castor oil on a cotton tip. Make sure that there is extra oil on the cotton tip but not so much that oil is dripping from it. Dab your upper lashes with oil from root to tip and do the same with your lower lashes.
Coconut Oil
Put some coconut oil on a cotton tip. Make sure that there is extra oil on the cotton tip but not so much that oil is dripping from it. Dab your upper lashes with oil from root to tip and do the same with your lower lashes.
Petroleum Jelly
Put some petroleum jelly on a cotton tip. Make sure that there is extra petroleum jelly on the cotton tip but not too much. Apply the petroleum jelly to your upper lashes from root to tip and do the same with your lower lashes.
Trim Your Eyelashes
Sit in front of a large mirror and make sure your hands are resting on a level area. Slowly trim your eye lashes using baby scissors (scissors with rounded tips). Make sure to only cut the ends of your eyelashes.
It will take at least four to six weeks to see the results. Cut your eyelashes at your own risk because there's always a possibility that your eyelashes won't grow back.
Most Asians cut the eyelashes of newborn babies (or really young babies) to make the eyelashes grow thicker and longer. It seems effective but what always works for babies might not work for adults.
I had done this just once and my eyelashes did grow slightly. I'm thinking of cutting my eyelashes again but I'd probably do it after a year or so. In the meantime, I'd have to make do with applying coconut oil and petroleum jelly.
